I have a passion… Actually, I have a few of them, and they are all related to one big thing... ART. I was born and raised in Brazil and came from an artist family. I grew up very connected to the beauty of touching people's hearts and minds through images, colors, and shapes.
At the age of eleven, starting to portray faces became my very first interest; to this day, it is my favorite art form. The next big step in my artistic journey came some years later; when the first digital Painting Software started to appear. Digital painting quickly became a new love and I began to study everything I could about it all on my own.

Since that discovery, I have been recognized and commissioned by specialized magazines to write articles and tutorials teaching the techniques. It became such a center of my life that my two sons grew up watching me draw and paint digitally as an independent artist working actively for many companies in the Publishing and  Entertainment Industry.

When I moved to Canada, so many more opportunities to grow as an artist were presented to me. I knew that sharing my artistic knowledge and experiences was my next step. Teaching art helped me to learn even more and deeply improve my skills and my work. With that, I started to believe that there is a balance that must be respected between the traditional and the digital medium; they help and influence each other technically and philosophically. It’s pure evolution.

I will never stop researching, studying, and practicing art. My passion will always move me forward to explore all my potential and power as a person and a professional creator.

I am an Illustrator and a Fine Art Painter. I am a mother of two beautiful boys. I’m a wife, a cello student, a bird watcher, and a botanical enthusiast. I am a cat mama, the biggest fan of Wonder Woman ever, and a chocolate lover in all its forms.
I am Cris Delara.
